Washington Trust always strives to support those who help our communities grow, which is why we’re proud to sponsor the 2024 Thomas S. Foley Award for Distinguished Public Service. Named after Spokane native Thomas S. Foley, the award recognizes those who put the welfare of others above all else in their civic leadership. The award’s inaugural recipient, Central Washington University alum General James Mattis, has exemplified this practice during his 40 years of military service.
